Always a dreamer, Sam has done all sorts of jobs, from policing to teaching, but has finally found her passion in Boudoir and Body Confidence Photography in East Sussex, UK. She loves challenges and proving she can do things others doubt she can!
Greatest achievement was completing the Tough Guy by myself – it was really hard but I did it!
I had enough of doing the kind of job I was expected to do and with the support of my family now run my own photography studio.

What’s the best thing that could happen?
I think learning that it was OK to change the type of photography I was doing, and drop the family side of things. It’s not failure, it’s growth. Being in a niche sometimes helps you realise it’s not for you, and that’s ok. Your business will develop over time and change for the better as you develop as a business person.
I am currently hooked on post apocalyptic fiction – anything by Mike Kraus

I would have been brave enough to start with my own style and not do the people pleasing style of photography I though everyone wanted.
